Privacy Policy

This policy explains how AGENTICAUTO LIMITED ("AgenticAuto", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit agenticauto.net or contact us. We are the data controller.

1. Who we are

AGENTICAUTO LIMITED, a company registered in Nigeria (RC 9179584), VI, Lagos. Questions about this policy or your data: support.info@agenticauto.net.

2. What we collect

Information you give us (forms)

• Book a demo / contact: first and last name, work email, company, company size, country, your message, and whether you consented to be contacted.
• Newsletter: your email address. Every newsletter email carries a one-click unsubscribe link, which deletes your address from our list.
• Website chat assistant: the messages you type, any files you attach, and the name and email address you give if you ask to be put in touch with our team.

Information collected automatically (analytics)

We run our own privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics. For each page view or button click we record:

• the page visited, the referring page, and the time;
• your browser user-agent string (the browser and device type it reports);
• a short, one-way "visitor" hash that rotates daily (used only to estimate unique visitors; it is not reversible and is not linked to your identity).

Your IP address. We use it only for a moment while handling each request: to protect the site from abuse (for example, limiting how often a form can be sent) and to work out the daily visitor hash above. We do not store it. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs that include it, under its own terms as our processor.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The only cookie we set is an essential session cookie for our own staff signing in to the private admin area.

Stored in your browser

The site keeps a small item in your own browser, never sent to us as tracking: while you use the chat assistant, your conversation and the contact details you gave it (cleared when you close the tab).

Fonts

Our fonts are served from agenticauto.net itself. Your browser does not contact any other company to display this site.

3. Why we use it, and our lawful basis

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We use a small number of service providers ("processors") who host the site and store the data on our behalf, under contract:

• Railway: application hosting.
• Neon: database hosting for form submissions and analytics.
• Google (Gmail): email correspondence and confirmation emails.
• MadeEasy, our own platform: runs the website chat assistant and keeps its conversations.
• OpenAI: the AI model that writes the chat assistant's answers. Your messages and attached files are sent to it to produce a reply, under its business terms, which say it does not use them to train its models.

These providers may process data outside Nigeria (e.g. in the United States/EU). Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on the providers' standard contractual protections.

5. How long we keep it

• Form submissions are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and our ongoing relationship, then deleted on request or when no longer needed.
• Analytics records are kept for up to 12 months.
• Chat assistant conversations are kept for as long as needed to answer you and to check the quality of the assistant's answers, then deleted. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.
• Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe, which deletes them.

6. How we protect it

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Access to the admin area is restricted, password-protected and secured with two-factor authentication, and every action is logged. We keep our systems patched and follow least-privilege access.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law (including the Nigeria Data Protection Act/NDPR and, where relevant, the EU/UK GDPR), you may ask us to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to its use; or receive a copy. To exercise any of these, email support.info@agenticauto.net. You also have the right to complain to a data-protection authority (in Nigeria, the Nigeria Data Protection Commission).

8. Children

The site is intended for businesses and is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; we'll change the "last updated" date above and, for significant changes, take reasonable steps to let you know.
